“We are particularly pleased to be returning to Weimar now, ten years after our master’s degrees, to present a project in the public space. It is not only a return to our place of study, but also a return to one of our first joint projects.“

Bauhaus Studio 100 is an extraordinary Bauhaus exhibition on the occasion of the Bauhaus anniversary 2019. The exhibition shows 100 actors in 100 days. An exhibition that presents the works of alumni and current students from 25 years of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. The exhibition provides an insight into the working methods and creative processes of the selected personalities. A multifaceted and heterogeneous picture of the new Bauhaus will be on display. Bauhaus Studio 100 will make guest appearances at various exhibition venues.

Colour Me Surprised is a on-going series of interventions in public space. The two artists Nicolas Vionnet and Wouter Sibum colour different plants (lawn, bushes, trees) with the help of lawn marking paint and thus change the appearance. The paint used is free of environmentally harmful toxins and biodegradable. One intention of the work is to transform a familiar environment into a new state with a simple intervention. The dyed hedge, for example, should remain recognisable as a hedge and retain its characteristic texture. Well-known, scenic occurrences are thus given a new meaning and promote a sensitization for the immediate surroundings.
